If you decide to split your table after buying a full table, you will be refunded $10. Dealer contracts: THIS PAGE. Payment cancellation deadline is May 1. You are expected to know your professional and licensing obligations for food sales or use of fire. Participants will clean and straighten hall after show closes Sunday; keep the Lion's club happy.

GAMING: The official game of this convention is "Adventure Castle." All games welcome; noisy ones outside on the porch (see photo below).

OFFICIAL CONVENTION "Hotel": Winter-Summer Inn Bed and Breakfast 360 963 2264 The 3 lower rooms are being held for the convention. Tell Owner Sandy Tsiang you are with the comicon, or you may be turned away. The upper suite - up to 7 guests - is available to anybody, and there is no deadline on reserving it. It has a fireplace and kitchen, big deck and killer view. 

FOOD AROUND TOWN - and neat places to eat and stay.
Outside porch - for music and noise.

COMICON KITCHEN: Dealers and eventers: we have a full kitchen, with sinks, stove and refrigerator. You're welcome to use them. Keep it clean. Potlucks welcome.

HOW TO GET HERE: Airline: Kenmore Air Airporter to Port Angeles: Olympic Bus Lines from Seattle to Port Angeles. 
See Busses, below, for county-bus option, more bus info.
From Seattle: Ferries, drive to Port Angeles, then Highway 101 to 113 (turns into 112) to Clallam Bay. Highway 112 in disrepair; recommended not to take.
Carpooling: organize on the Facebook Events Page.

Highway 101 (around Lake Crescent) repairs March-Sept 2017-2019 may cause weekday delays.

BUSSES:  Full schedules, including Bainbridge Ferry to Port Angeles bus. New feature: Catch the Clallam County Port Angeles bus in Seattle, ride to Port Angeles, then catch Forks 14, finally transfer to Clallam Bay 16. TELL YOUR DRIVERS WHAT YOU're DOING, ASK FOR ADVICE. Enjoy the scenery!

WI-FI is 24/7 at the library, right around the corner, also at various businesses and the Visitors' Center.

Kitchen. Keep it clean.
FACILITY CARE: No tape of any sort on the wall. Respect the Lion's Club's wall displays. All with tables chip in to clean up at the end of the show. It don't take long; they love us for it.

LEGAL NOTES: Donna Barr is the ONLY Comicon staff. No one else has any access to official comicon decisions.

Parents and/or guardians are legally 100% responsible for their children and/or wards. Everyone else is legally 0% responsible for those same people.


Saturday schedule:

10:00 am: Clallam Bay Comicon opens for Set-up.

11:00 am: Clallam Bay Sekiu Fun Days Parade. To participate, meet in Shell parking lot.

Noon: Clallam Bay Comicon opens.

Events: All events of a panel or discussion or demo nature are held at the two large tables at the front. Announce your panels. You're the boss.

Whole convention: open gaming or cosplay on the outside porch, unless game or cosplay is quiet, and inside space is available. 

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Film with our Guest Artist, Diana Kennedy: The Vosgian Beast (24 minutes). The duel of two legends: President JFK gets lost in the French mountains and faces the "Vosgian Beast." A beautiful and funny, hand-drawn animated film By Diana Kennedy.

2:00 pm - 3:30 pm - “Let’s make a crown" Wire and bead crowns, take these simple skills with you to turn into your own creations, and walk away with a crown. Watching is free; make-and-take $5.00 for materials. With Alice Ryan.

4:00 - 5:00 pm - “The Nuts and Bolts of Steampunk” An intro to the world of Steampunk to prepare for the upcoming Steampunk-themed convention. With Kevin Ryan.

5:00 pm: Lion's Club hall closes.

6:00 pm: Fish-n-chips-n-beer feast at the Clallam Bay Inn. Everybody welcome!

Dusk: Clallam Bay/Sekiu Fun Days Fireworks, in Sekiu.

Sunday Schedule (time allotted for beach walk, good breakfast, church, etc.)

11:00: Clallam Bay Comicon opens for set-up.

12:00: Clallam Bay Comicon opens to public

12:00 noon to 1:00 pm - Open Cosplay. If you love costuming, bring your ideas and materials, and BE this round-table event. The space and time is open to all cosplayers and costumers. Have fun!

2:00 to 3:00 PM - "Minicomics In All Their Glory" - with Larry Lewis. While there may be No Rules for making minicomics there are some things to keep in mind. I'll bring the paper and other tools, you bring the pencil, pen, or whatever you'd like on it, and we'll make books!

3:00 to 4:00 pm: "Easy (and hard!) Self-Publishing" - Modest Medusa creator and Combine editor Jake Richmond talks about how easy (and how hard!) self publishing your own comics is! Learn how to get your comics out there and find an audience by using Kickstarter, Patreon, Print on Demand and social media!

5:00: Clallam Bay Comicon closes. Dealers put away tables and chairs and clean the Lion's club.
