Just got back from a 241-mile round trip with Price to the vet specialist in Kitsap County. What a good kitty! Only an occasional "Are we there yet?"
Lung x-rays clean, all bloodwork clean, no infections.
He has a 3-centimeter-long thickening of the walls of his small intestines. The radiologist will have a report back in a couple of days.
Light some incense for it NOT being cancer.

Incense lit. Fig-scented, as it happens.
Cats are the one animal I think deserve to be immortal. Best of wishes to Price.
Thank you, Miss Jane. A cat we adopted up here who later died had a thickening in the walls of his bladder. This is, after all, an industrial forest area. Cancer is rife up here, and other strange ailments. I don't know why these people don't take the forestry organizations on in a class-action suit.
Thank you, Dave! He's eating again. I better go get him out of that cold room and light the fire!
How has the boy been doing?
Hi, Kate -- we're opting for bowel resection. They couldn't tell if it was cancerous or not -- there are reasons for that -- but that thickening is going to block his intestine sooner or later. He's eating and cheerful. He says meow thanks to everybody who's been asking!
